**Edit, this was originally a 3star, but have moved it to 5 star as the owner called regarding my feedback. We discussed my comments and he was genuine to the feedback. I have corrected the comment where clarification has been discussed **Hair cut for high school student was well done, unsure of the name who cut it. But, there’s no student price. If you booked online it can cheaper, if you happen to be needing a last minute cut.To be clear, it was a good cut and we’ll return, but we’ll just book online in future.

I booked an appointment at Chaps with Grant via phone call, and explained that I have severe anxiety and that haircuts can be quite distressing for me. Straight off the bat every barber in the shop was welcoming and reassuring. My appointment with Grant was amazing, he was very considerate of my nervousness, explaining what he was doing and making sure I was comfortable with excellent skill. This is definitely the most comfortable experience I have had at a barber shop, and would recommend anyone experiencing the same to book an appointment with these guys. Grant and his team are all highly skilled, knowledgeable professionals, will certainly be back.

I feel like it's cheating cos normally go to Ryan at Brighton Chaps, who is the best, but Grant at West Lakes is pure class too, awesome cut and top bloke. So either way, you're covered at both locations. Best cuts in the city, fact!
